Getting Started on Your Path to Wellness

Welcome! We are here to help guide you through the steps to begin your mental health journey with us at Wheaton Behavioral Health. Below, you’ll find all the details you need regarding appointments, insurance, and how to get started with care. Our goal is to make this process as smooth and simple as possible, so you can focus on what matters most—your well-being.

First Time Here?

If you’re joining me for the first time, we want to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident as we begin working together. The process begins with filling out a brief intake form that will help me better understand your needs and the challenges you're facing. We also encourage you to ask any questions you may have about the process, your treatment plan, or anything else. This is your space to feel heard and supported.

What to Expect During Your First Appointment

During your first appointment, we will take time to listen to your concerns and discuss your history, current challenges, and treatment goals. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan focused on your unique needs. We want you to feel comfortable and supported throughout the process, so if you have any questions at any time, we encourage you to ask.

Insurance and Payment Information

We accept a range of insurance plans including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, and Medicare. If you are a self-pay patient, we will work with you to find a solution that fits your budget and treatment needs. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions about insurance coverage or payment options.
